Circles

Circles

What is the difference between a public and private Circle?

Public Circle

A public Circle can be discovered more broadly through Explore.

People can view the Circle information available publicly and choose whether they want to join.

Private Circle

A private Circle provides greater control over who becomes part of the community. Access and membership may require approval.

Private means gated content, not a hidden Circle. Non-members can still see the Circle name, cover photo and description, the member count and date founded, the organizer, and basic event details. The member list, discussions, photos and full event details are members-only.

Important: Once a Circle has been changed from public to private, it cannot be changed back to public.
